AIRPORT RUNWAY DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

The FAA designed and constructed the NAPTF for full -scale testing of airport runway pavements.  The main purpose of the testing is to conduct pavement traffic tests to failure.  SVT was tasked with deconstruction of existing runway pavement test sections, and construction of a new pavement test sections at the National Airport Pavement Test Facility in the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center.
