HAZARDOUS MATERIAL MANAGEMENT

SVT examines administrative controls to minimize exposure to HAZMAT Materials, toxic chemicals, and radiation, and safety procedures, SVT provides all new employees materials training for “HAZMAT employees” under the U.S. DOT hazardous materials regulations (49 CFR Part 172, Subpart H).  SVT maintains the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all hazardous materials especially chemicals.  The OSH programs include the training and safe handling of explosives and other hazardous materials.  SVT personnel maintains, updates and continually improves the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), TSL Safety Manual and training materials related to handling explosives and other hazardous materials.  SVT maintains TSL’s chemical inventory and ensures all Material Data Sheets (MSDS) are available.
