TEST & EVALUATION (T&E)

In support of the TSL, SVT’s test leads have performed in-depth engineering analysis of Explosive and Threat Detection Systems and other complex security related systems.  Our leads determine the potential for further development; evaluates and develops technical/engineering processes and procedures; recommends technical improvements; and configuration management. SVT responsibilities include the development of technical project schedules/plans; reviews of technical project requirements documents; and the development of IED’s for technology testing.  Our personnel have developed, reviewed, and authored technical documentation.  SVT personnel have participated in security technology seminars, and have represented the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in preliminary and critical design review with vendors. SVT’s engineers perform certification/qualification/vulnerability testing on airport checked and carry-on luggage inspection systems, hand held and walk through personnel screening, and cargo detection systems.
